How many people can you take?
Private charters accommodate up to 4 guests.
Is the price per person?
No. Our charter prices are per boat, not per person. Your group gets the entire boat.
Do I need a fishing license?
No. Passengers fishing from a properly licensed saltwater charter vessel are covered by the charter license and do not need their own recreational saltwater fishing license.
Do I need to bring fishing gear?
No. Rods, reels, tackle and bait are provided. Just bring yourself and be ready to fish.
What should I bring?
Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, comfortable clothing, drinks, snacks and anything else you may want for several hours on the water.
Do you provide life jackets?
Yes. Required safety equipment and properly sized life jackets are provided.
Can children fish?
Absolutely. Captain Q Charters is family friendly, and children are welcome aboard.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Weather and water conditions are monitored before your trip. If conditions make the trip unsafe, I’ll work with you to reschedule or discuss the appropriate cancellation option.

Meet Captain Heath at 170 Causeway N, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169. Get directions. Your departure time will be confirmed when you book.
Do you clean the fish?
Yes. If you keep your catch, I’ll clean and prepare your fish for you.
Can we bring food and drinks?
Yes. Feel free to bring snacks and drinks. Alcohol is Allowed.
What species can we catch?
Depending on the season, conditions and location, trips may target redfish, snook, trout and other inshore and nearshore species.
