Late October Bull Redfish Fishing in New Smyrna Beach, Florida

Late October bull redfish · New Smyrna Beach, Florida

Late October.
Big bull reds.
Let’s go fishing.

Late October is one of my favorite times to chase bull redfish around New Smyrna Beach and Ponce Inlet. Join me for a private fishing trip and a chance at a powerful fish you’ll remember long after the ride home.

Why I love late October

The rod loads up.
The drag starts singing.

There’s something special about the moment a big bull redfish takes the bait. The rod bends, the drag starts screaming, and suddenly you’ve got a serious fight on your hands.

That’s why I look forward to late October on Florida’s East Coast. Changing conditions and bait moving through the area can create opportunities to target mature redfish around Ponce Inlet and nearby waters.

I plan each day around the tide, weather, bait and fish movement. We may fish around Ponce Inlet, the Indian River or nearby New Smyrna Beach waters, choosing areas that suit the conditions rather than following the same route every day.

You don’t need years of experience to enjoy the trip. I provide the fishing equipment and help throughout the day. When we land a bull redfish, we’ll get a photo and safely return it to the water.

Fishing is always an adventure: species, fish size and catches vary from trip to trip.
